18th National Caravan Clubs Rally 2022
On behalf of the Association of Caravan Clubs of South Australia and the 18th National Caravan Clubs Rally 2022 Committee, I would like to invite you and your club members to join us at the Riverland Events Centre at BARMERA, South Australia for the next National Caravan Clubs Rally which is only eight months away, ‘the excitement is building.’
We have chosen the best time in the Riverland to hold the rally, 28th March to the 6th of April 2022 (10 nights) and staging the rally at a site which is located only five kilometres from Barmera on 12 hectares of grass, set well back from the main road with good facilities.
So why not come along and enjoy River Time at Barmera and the network of towns from the Council districts of Berri-Renmark, Loxton-Waikerie & Renmark-Paringa that make up this exciting region. There is more than 330 kms of Murray River to explore and enjoy and, just like the river itself, the days can be long and lazy, yet packed with a little or as much as you want. The locals tell us that the Riverland has more sunshine than the Sunshine Coast and yet has a Mediterranean climate which means wine, fruit, and olive country.
That leads to fantastic cuisine which is served up in the pubs, clubs, cafes, and restaurants along with innovative beverages from spirits to beer, coffee, juice, and wine.
There is also plenty to do and explore on your own or why not experience some fantastic local tours arranged for you by the ‘SeaLink’ Company. These tours can be booked now.
Our committee formed and started planning the rally back in March 2017 and the thirty-one dedicated members are working diligently to ensure that you will have the best time.
We are compiling a fantastic program for you over the ten days of the Rally with wonderful entertainment, workshops, etc.
Our caterers, ‘Salt & Pepper’, have agreed to provide a Café service in the Function Pavilion where you will be able to meet each other during the day for a chat and tea/coffee and a bite to eat.
The registration numbers are increasing steadily, and we understand the anxiousness that ‘Covid 19’ has thrown your and our way but with the roll out of vaccinations and the borders remaining open, I am confident that we will reach our target number of 500 vans.
We currently have received 381 registrations and so I urge you to register as soon as possible.
